Properly thrilling and mysterious. A non-scifi-scifi just the way I like it.

I don’t think I would’ve guessed it was Cronenberg, but I can tell once I’ve been told. Very pretty film. And I think it brings some… oh, I don’t know, let’s say conceptual background, to his later films.

The chronological war movies were a bit of a hurdle, but we now resume our original programming, after a brief hiatus.

Ok, so the war is now over.  That was a tough one.  I have to say that this story-chronological war-movie-watching is not a project I can recommend anyone undertake.  Anyway I feel I should provide my millions of readers with a watch-list:

• U-571: Intense suspense.
• Indigénes: A moving take on a forgotten story.
• The Longest day: Probably the best WW2 flick ever.

 Yeah, okay, that’s it.  Watch those three.
