Silent Night, Bloody Night: The Homecoming
Oh lawd! It’s worse!
Silent Night, Bloody Night
Kinda competent, but it looks like they couldn’t afford proper studio lights, so all the scenes are so dark you can hardly see anything.
Much better than Fred Clause. Still not very good though
An hour and forty-five shorter, and still feels twice as long. It actually makes the original better. Been trying to get through it for three days, but I’m finally giving up. Don’t watch this.
Two hours and forty-five minutes and an hour, and it’s just a bunch of religion and sports.
Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut
Well how about that. That was actually a lot better. Far better pacing of the story, much better character exploration, better dialogue, even better sets and effects. Of course this comes at the expense of some stupid action sequences, so I get it.
Except the endig. Let us never mention the ending
I thought I should re-watch the original before the Richard Donner cut.
Gus Van Sant
Not sure I understand why this exists. Was probably fun to make, though.
Weird that this is what went in the history books as the ultimate Hitchcock. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good piece of work, but it’s a far cry from, say Lifeboat or Rear Window, just to pull a couple of titles at random-ish.
a whole heap of directors
The problem with these isn’t the cartooney visuals–I enjoy Milkdrop as much as anyone, but they’re trying so hard to find the dullest, non-abrasivest music possible. Ok, The Rite of Spring is good–keep that. But ditch the rest and add some Penderecki and Shostakovich or something.
This premiered just a couple of weeks before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Weird, huh? At least this time around they cancelled Hitler II. I hope.
