According to some random rag I came across this is apparently the first horror movie… And I’m rather impressed. I was bracing for the filmatic ancestor of The Elephant Man, but this is more like a parallell universe Wizard of Oz. Great transfer, too.
I don’t really remember what the TV show was like, except for a bunch of killing, drinking and whoring, and Timothy Oliphant’s ridiculous moustache, which I’m happy to reveal is back.
