#253: Cul-de-sac [1966]

The greatest heist movie ever. A bit of a cheat, really, as Cul-de-sac is one of my all time favourite movies. Most heist-films focus on the planning and execution of the big heist.  Cul-de-sac picks up after the heisters have gotten away, and shows us while you may think the answer is money, and freedom, the question is people, and eggs.

Interrestingly, I believe this marks Donald Pleasence’s first apparance in the year of film 2014.  Strange… You rock, Donny!
