Someone’s Watching Me! [1978] Someone’s Watching Me John Carpenter 4/7 A few hilarious-for-all-the-wrong-reasons scenes, but not too bad. Not too good either.
Velvet Buzzsaw [2019] Velvet Buzzsaw Dan Gilroy 4/5 Classic horr-ytelling mixed with a brutal take on the contemporary art-industry sees horrtober 2021 off to a good start.
Dune [2021] Dune Denis Villeneuve 3/6 I also tried to watch the two mini-series from 2000-ish, but I had to turn the off after about 20 minutes. I’m beginning to think this story isn’t possible to film without extra cheese.
Dune [1984] Dune David Lynch 2/8 Apparently I have tickets to the new Dune next week, so…. time to watch everything.
The Humanity Bureau [2017] The Humanity Bureau Rob W. King 2/6 Tries to make a political point, which is something I’m totally fine with. Shame they forgot to make the movie any good, though.
