2014 – The year in film

Ok, that was a resounding success.  I know I originally said one movie every day, and while films all days turned out to be impossible, I still made my average. And most importantly, I’ve seen lots and lots of film, which was the motivation behind the whole thing.

So what did I learn?

The scores

First of all, I had expected this to be alot harder than it turned out to be.  I thought most movies would suck harder than a black hole, but I think I actually enjoyed most of it.  Let’s see if we can find some hard numbers:

Back in september I decided I’d see a bunch of unseen war movies in war-chronoligical order.  Don’t do this.  Please.  If you get the urge, just watch the ones on my short list.

 

The Future

Okay, so now what?  Am I going to stop watching movies?  NO! I’ve decided I’ll probably even blog them, just because.  

But I may talk about other things as well.

And I’ve decided for 2015 I’m going to try all the weird fruit I haven’t eaten.  And the weird fruit I have.  And the not so weird fruit.  Stay tuned.
